Derek though is reportedly still in love with Cole. Nowmagazine.co.uk reported, “The singer’s former bodyguard Craig Balkam claims that Derek was smitten with Cheryl – but he thinks the feeling wasn’t mutual. ‘He was definitely in love with her – you could tell from the way he looked at her.”
